VILLA PARADISO 8 is a particularly beautiful villa, built in early 20th century style, with swimming pool and large park 4 km from the centre of Arezzo and about 10 km from the A1 motorway. It has been constructed in two symmetrical wings, slightly curved to follow the longitudinal slope of the land, that are joined by a central loggia dividing the villa between the guest wing and the family wing. The villa has a beautiful view over the park and the Aretine countryside with olive trees and vineyards and numerous paths around the villa invite one to go for walks in the park that is a mixture of nature and art. The proximity of the town of Arezzo makes it very easy to visit shops, markets and whatever else is necessary for your stay at VILLA PARADISO 8 a property for a refined and demanding clientele.
*Please note: only the south wing of the villa will be rented. Owners leave in the north wing and they guarantee the total privacy to their guests in using the park and swimming pool.
PARK: the villa is surrounded by 12 acres of land transformed into a park by Pietro Porcinai (1910-1986), the world famous Florentine landscape designer. The park has been published in numerous specialist magazines thanks to its originality and beauty. The theatre, constructed by Porcinai using only trees and plants, must be mentioned. The large garden in front of the villa is an ideal place in which to organise particular events.
SWIMMING POOL: open from April 29 to September 30, the pool, with Roman steps leading down into the water, measures 6 x 12 m with the depth varying from 1,80 to 3,00 m 100 m from the villa, it is well equipped with deckchairs and sun umbrellas.
INTERIOR: the three-storey house has a regular shape. The living area is on ground floor,from the main entrance one can access to the leaving room with fireplace, armchairs, rugs and coffe tables. The dining romm opens onto the living room. The Tv room is located on the left of the entrance. A large marble spiral staircase leads to the first floor with four bedrooms and three bathrooms, two of which en suite; a narrower spiral staircase leads down to the kitchen in the basement and from here to the ironing room/store room and a fourth bathroom which serves the kitchen and also a possible double bedroom. On the same floor a French window leads outside.
The furniture is from different periods, fitting harmoniously together. The floors are made all in different materials:ceramic tiles, wood and marvellous marble in the hall.

The wealth of the city is based upon the numerous and prosperous jewellers and goldsmiths, with a useful fallback being the prestigious antique shops (and fair) for which Arezzo is famous.
The town is spread around the flanks of a hill and has a semicircular design that fans out and down from the Duomo and the older quarter at the top of the hill. It is this older town that you'll find yourself drawn to from the more businesslike and modern lower town, an area that suffered extensive damage during the war.
